Current admissions guidance for University of Central Florida

Latest official update: The fall 2026 admitted profile is 1310–1420 SAT and 28–32 ACT. The 1200–1350 SAT range in the federal snapshot describes historical enrolled-score reporting and should not be presented as the new admitted class.

SAT/ACT policy

UCF requires official entrance-exam results for freshman applications and superscores the SAT and ACT. Its admissions guidance states there is no minimum SAT/ACT/CLT admission score. Required testing and a minimum score are different rules.

Application deadlines

For summer/fall entry, Early Action applications are due October 15 and materials November 15. The published regular deadlines are March 1 for summer and May 1 for fall. Confirm the separate international timeline if it applies to you.

How to use your SAT score

  • Use 1310–1420 when comparing with UCF’s fall 2026 admitted profile, and retain 1200–1350 only as historical enrollment context.
  • Request official reports before the materials deadline. An application submitted on October 15 is not complete if required testing or SPARK is still missing on November 15.
  • For an out-of-state application, do not assume a different SAT cutoff. UCF’s published overall range is not a separately reported out-of-state range.

UCF middle 50%, percentiles and median

A middle-50% range marks the central half of the reported score distribution. It is not the full range of accepted students. UCF’s current profile calls 1310–1420 a mid-range; do not label every applicant below 1310 ineligible.

The endpoints average to 1365, which is not a measured UCF median and is not a valid 10-point SAT result. A median requires the actual 50th-percentile statistic; you cannot recover it from two endpoints.

A lower score still needs an official report

UCF states that it has no minimum SAT/ACT/CLT admission requirement. That does not make it test-optional: the standard freshman checklist still requires official scores.

If you retake, compare the Reading and Writing and Math sections separately. Superscoring can use improvements from different dates; confirm receipt of the score reports rather than relying on the total typed into an application.
