How to Get a 1350 on the SAT
A 1350 SAT can be 670 Reading and Writing + 680 Math, or a split such as 600 + 750. For a nearby baseline like 1270, repair specific recurring errors. For a much lower baseline, allow time to learn and verify the missing foundations.

1270 to 1350 is not the same plan as 990 to 1350
From 1270, you need 80 more points. If the split is 570 / 700, a 650 / 700 target concentrates the project in Reading and Writing. From 990, the 360-point gap requires a broader review; copying the near-target plan skips the foundations that may be missing.
Forty days can hold several learning-and-retest cycles, but it cannot establish a 1120-to-1350 result in advance. Reassess after a fresh timed test instead of treating the desired date as evidence of readiness.
Inspect an answer that goes beyond the text
Suppose a passage says a plant grew faster under one lamp in a single experiment. 'This lamp improved growth under the tested conditions' stays within the evidence. 'This lamp is best for every plant species' extends beyond it.
For each missed inference question, mark the exact phrase that supports the correct answer and the unsupported word in the tempting one. Words such as 'every', 'only' or 'proves' are not automatically wrong; they need matching evidence.
Use medium questions as the transfer check
After a narrow drill, use a mixed module and see whether you still recognize the skill when it is no longer labeled. If you only solve systems correctly when the set is titled 'systems', keep practicing identification before choosing a method.
Count repeated error types, not just total misses. A score increase from a favorable set of topics does not show that the same reasoning will survive a different test.
