The base SAT registration fee in India is US$111: US$68 registration plus US$43 international fee. Your card determines the final rupee conversion and any foreign-transaction charge. Check a discount voucher before paying if you qualify for the India Scholars Program.
The base international SAT charge is US $111: $68 registration plus $43 international fee. College Board quotes USD; your card's conversion and foreign-transaction charges determine the INR amount. Do not treat a converted estimate as the checkout price.
Late registration adds $38, so the base late total is $149. A center change costs $34. A date change requires canceling and registering again; canceling costs $34 by the change deadline or $44 until 11:59 p.m. ET on the Thursday before test day. Review the official fee schedule and the actual checkout before paying. Classes, transport, and extra score reports are separate expenses.
College Board adds a $24 test center fee only at the centers on its published list. On October 5, 2026, that August 2026–June 2027 list named centers in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan, and none in India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, or Kuwait.
Use the payment provider's exchange rate for the actual charge date. A currency converter or a coaching company's rounded ₹10,000 quote cannot establish the final bank statement amount.
Add only the extras you expect to use. If another city needs an overnight stay, compare that cost with a later local sitting. Coaching is optional and should have its own quoted teaching hours and terms.

The India Scholars Program offers registration discounts to income-eligible India residents in Class XI or XII: 90% for annual family income below ₹8 lakh and 50% between ₹8 lakh and ₹15 lakh. Use the official page's application route and obtain the voucher before completing payment.
Read the voucher's terms and check that it appears in the checkout total. A registration discount is separate from a university tuition scholarship; neither applies merely because you are an Indian citizen.
College Board's service schedule gives four free score reports if ordered by nine days after testing; later or additional reports cost US$15 each. Check the university's policy before selecting recipients.
Before changing the date, read the cancellation rules and new registration total. The US$34 center-change fee is not a simple date-change fee. If a payment does not complete, check My SAT and your payment status before attempting another booking.
Book through your own College Board account. A school hosting the exam and a company selling SAT classes are different from the registration service. Paying for tuition does not reserve a test seat.
