## SAT Practice Test Score Sheet

Track the test number, first-attempt section scores, unanswered questions, guesses and the reason for each miss. Download the score tracker below, then turn one repeated error into your next practice session. Keep retakes of the same test separate from fresh attempts.

### Fields worth recording

Write the assessment and attempt date alongside the score. A school’s official test, a Bluebook test and a 1600.now practice run are different sources; do not blend them into one unlabeled score history.

| Field | Example | Why keep it |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Test and attempt | Bluebook test N, first attempt, October 2 | Distinguishes fresh and repeated content |
| Section result | RW 650; Math 710; total 1360 | Separates the two practice needs |
| Question and skill | Math Q12, [systems](https://1600.now/bank/math/skill/Systems%20of%20two%20linear%20equations%20in%20two%20variables) | Lets you revisit the specific work |
| Outcome | Incorrect, unanswered or correct guess | Preserves uncertainty as well as misses |
| First wrong step | Reversed the relationship in the equation | Names a repairable decision |
| Pacing note | Four questions rushed at the end | Separates timing from a known content gap |
| Next check | Solve three new system word problems | Makes review testable |

### A completed error-log example

Suppose a question says the adult ticket costs twice the child ticket. You wrote $c=2a$ instead of $a=2c$. Your error-log entry should say “Reversed adult and child in the relationship,” not just “careless.”

The correction is to test an easy pair: if child is 5, adult is 10, so $a=2c$ fits. Your next check is a fresh word problem with another relationship, not copying the original solution.

### Review before adding another test

Redo an incorrect or guessed question with the explanation hidden. Compare your first step with the solution only after you have made another attempt. Write the smallest correction that would change the result.

If you left it unanswered, say whether you never reached it, skipped it after a failed setup or ran out of time while calculating. Those reasons need different practice. Do not record unanswered as if it were a known content miss.

### Check the repair after a delay

Redo selected errors later, then solve new questions using the same skill. Record both separately: the repeat checks recall of the repair, while fresh questions check transfer. Move into a timed module once you can explain the setup.

A score trend should use comparable first attempts. Keep repeat-test scores in a separate note so a remembered answer does not look like a new measure of readiness.

### Do not use the sheet as a conversion chart

Raw correct counts on [skill drills](https://1600.now/bank) are useful accuracy measures. They do not determine an official SAT section score. Bluebook supplies a result for its adaptive practice test; a local estimate or manually counted set should keep its own label.

The spreadsheet is a review aid. It does not need a new score prediction after every drill.

### FAQs

#### Should I record questions I guessed correctly?

Yes. Label them as correct guesses or uncertain answers, then resolve the reasoning during review.

#### How should I record unanswered questions?

Keep them unanswered and add the reason: not reached, skipped after a failed setup or unfinished calculation.

#### Can this tracker turn a raw count into an official score?

No. Use the reported result from the test you took, and label any practice estimate separately.
